Congratulations from Ralph Goodale, MP

I want to congratulate All Notions Healin' Thru Artz for all their hard work organizing the Ninth Annual Talent Show/Fundraiser.

The funds being raised help support a variety of valuable programs that benefit the community. Since 2008 community youth have benefited from access to training, advice and resources that ANHTA brings together. The change to learn and expand in areas of interest, to dicscover new interests, learn new life skills, build confidence and succeed, has already and will continue to make a big difference in participants' lives.

The work being done also promotes awareness of both our nunique and our shared cultures, a source of strength in Canada. When participants learn about and discuss community awareness and development, everyone benefits. Activities such as these have the potential to foster new ideas and new solutions to challenges we see today and that we will see in the future.

Letter of Support from Warren McCall, MLA

Welcome to The Sky Is The Limit, another All Nations Healin' Thru Artz Production.

All Nations Healin' Thru Artz - it's not just all in the name, but its close.

ANHTA does set out to bring ALL nations together to heal, have fun, build understanding and to celebrate through the arts. It bring young people from many different walk of life together to discover the thrill of artistic creation - in writing in drama, dance and music. It gives them a chance to develop their own talents and to set up and say something about themselves and the world around them.

Tonight's performance is just one more showcase of what ANHTA is all about -- struggling and creating, striving and driving to get the show together and to put the finale' performance on the stage. Enjoy the show - and listen closely to what the cast and crew have to say.

Congratulations to these young people for having the discipline and the drive to get it out on the stage. Congratulations and thanks to Ms. Monica Fogel, Executive Director (and Heart, Soul and Backbone of ANHTA), and to Wendy Gervais, President of the Board and the entire Board of Directors, and to all of the friends, sponsors and supporters of All Nations Healin' Thru Artz. Like I said up top - it's pretty much all in the name but it's the people and the organizations that bring that name to life to give these young people a chance to learn something about themselves and to have their say in an artistic way.

On with the Show!

Greeting Letter from Mark Docherty, MLA

It is a pleasure to attend and bring greetings to the All Nations Healin' Thru Artz Talent Show and Fundraiser.

For years, this event has showcased the talents of aspiring artists by providing them an opportunity to tell their stories through diverse and empowering creative expression.

The skills they have learned, the feelings they have shared and new friendships they have built, have strengthened our community and prepared them for a bright future.

It is a reminder that our potential is as limitless as the Saskatchewan prairie sky.

Congratulations to this year's participants and thank you to the many instructors, sponsors and supporters for your role in hosting this remarkable event each year.

Enjoy the show!

Message from the Mayor

Welcome to the 9th Annual All Nations Healin' Thru Artz Talent Show!

It is wonderful to see a program like this continuing to provide young people in our community with such a powerful outlet for their creativity. By investing in both our youth and our community, All Nations Healin' Thru Artz (ANHTA) is encouraging an evolution in our city which offers further opportunities, growth, confidence and prosperity.

For more than a decade, ANHTA has looked outside-the-box, providing an array of programming and classes that pair professional artists with youth to help empower, build confidence, pride and self-esteem in our younger citizens. We know this approach works because culture and the arts play very important roles in the lives of young people from all backgrounds. They help build community, they help create confident and contributing citizens, and they provide an opportunity for different voices to be heard.

This Talent Show is a great showcase for the skills and abilities of the young people involved in ANHTA programming, and a chance for others to see the confidence and artistic growth that has resulted from their efforts.

I congratulate all those performing tonight for finding the voice inside you and for having the courage to express yourself in a healthy, productive way. I also thank the staff and volunteers ANHTA and the family members of the performers for offering your support and guidance.

Have an incredible show!
